Autumn Hike

With the construction happening in Kananaskis we have to shift our hiking route.

Join us Saturday October 5 at 10am to hike Tunnel Mountain. For novices or experienced hikers alike, this is a mostly easy route that allows folks to get accustomed to hiking in the Canadian Rocky Mountains while still having the opportunity for great views.

The trail begins from Tunnel Mountain Drive in Banff. It follows long, nicely graded switchbacks along the side of the mountain through the forest. The best views will be from the top of the mountain at the end of the trail. Some notable features include glacial lakes, Sulphur Mountain, and Mount Rundle, all of which are visible from the peak.

As always, we remind to dress appropriately to the weather conditions and bring some water and snacks. 💧🥪

After the hike, we will head into Banff to hit the hot spring 👙🩳 and the a beverage 🍷🍸🍹

Banff Park pass is required to park near the trailhead.
