Join Konekt Calgary for a Polish movie night!

Konekt will be showing Tesciowie (The In-Laws) Saturday, May 27th at 7 pm at the Globe Cinema located at 617 8th Avenue SW. 

The Globe is a classic movie house, dedicated to bringing Calgarians quality movies of all varieties, and are proud to participate in many of the wonderful annual film festivals this city has to offer. Now licensed, Globe Cinema offers an exceptional entertainment experience.. Globe Cinema is located in downtown Calgary on 8th Avenue SW between 5th and 6th Street, one block from the 6th Street LRT station. Parking is available at the Centennial Parkade located behind the theater on 9th Avenue ($2 on weekdays after 4 pm and weekends).

Tesciowie is a critically acclaimed film and winner of the Audience Award at the Vancouver International Film Festival.

The film will play in Polish with English subtitles.

Film Synopsis: A rich couple's son deserts his fiancée at the altar. However, with guests coming from far away, the couple decides to proceed with lunch anyway. The parents of the almost-newlyweds meet, and the two polar-opposite couples find out what happened.
